Here is a way to sell painting jobs by credit card without the hassle of setting up a credit card account with a bank or other provider. Some credit card providers charge $150 per month even with one purchase of $10, quite a rip-off. The way that I am suggesting has no start-up fees and takes only a small percentage of each sale. The money can then be deposited into your bank account. What I am talking about is PayPal. PayPal can accept all credit and debit cards. I have been using PayPal for years in my painting business and have begun to use them in other businesses that I own. I trust them completely. One of the best parts of setting up transactions through PayPal is that you don’t get involved in the collection process at all. All you have to do is set up a PayPal account, then create a Buy Now button which you now insert the code into your splash page. 402-935-7733
What you need to do is set-up what is called a splash page. A splash page is a single web page that tells about your company and the individual job. Before you back away, there are plenty of web hosts that can provide you with a template for a web page or even more at a very low cost. GoDaddy.com has such a service and they also provide excellent free customer service. Their hosting plans are one of the cheapest around. Give them a call and ask to speak to someone who can explain what they offer and what you need to do next.
After you give the customer a paint job estimate and get a signed contract, you supply the client with an email template with a description of the paint job we are offering and the Buy Now button that takes them directly to the PayPal site where the customer pays you through PayPal. Basically you can copy-paste your estimate into your splash page or email temple. So after setting up your web page or email template which might take a few hours initially, then all you do is paste the paint estimate onto your web page or email template and create a Buy Now with the price of this paint job and you are done, except for a little marketing.
You can use PayPal without the creation of the templates; just send the client a link to the PayPal website.
